Joan Dahl's Rosemaling Seminars:

During Joan Dahl’s 17 years stay in Norway, the home-land of Rosemaling, she researched this wonderful Scandinavian art form in addition to teaching the Norwegian their own folk art. 9 of the years at the Norwegian Folke University, prior to building her own teaching facilities. Today she teaches both at home and travels around giving Rosemaling seminars in addition to being an author.

1.
The length of each seminar is a minimum 3 days and a maximum 5 days. Teaching is from 9 am to 5 pm with one hour lunch.

The Florida classes are  limited to only 10 students. This gives every student lots of personal attention. When Joan teaches at Conventions and other places away from home, she will allow class sizes up to 30 students. .

There is no age requirement. Joan has had very happy students in all age groups, all the way up to high 80 years of age.! She only asks that you are serious about wanting to learn this wonderful and exciting artform.

Seminar tuition at Joan's own studio in Florida, is only $ 49.- per day/per student. This includes free art oil paint and study “folders”. If needed, all art supplies are available to be purchased at the studio at competitive prices. We are located on a direct inlet from the Gulf of Mexico, about 2 hours by car west of Orlando Airport and 2 hours north of Tampa Airport on the beautiful Gulf Coast. A reasonable motel is within 3 miles of the Studio and a waterfront trailer camp is within 2 miles. Greyhound offers bus services from Tampa.

5.
A non-refundable deposit of $69.- per student is required to secure you a space at a seminar. The deposit will only be refunded if the seminar is full, or a standby student is available to fill the cancelled space(s).

When your seminar registration has been received and confirmed, you will receive a list of art supplies and items to bring.

7.
Upon completion of your seminar(s), you will presented with a Rosemaling Certificate that shows the number of hours you have studied this art form with Joan.
