About The Artist:

The artist lives on Iceland. She got introduced to Rosemaling after several years of living in Vestfold which is next to Telemark. The Telemark style of Rosemaling is probably the most popular of the different styles. Guðríður took advantage of all the Rosemaling instructions that are available in Norway while living in the homeland of this beautiful artform. After moving back to Iceland with her family in 2004, she has been teaching Rosemaling there as well as selling her great work.
